Yolanda Nelson, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
is a renowned author, teacher and conference speaker who demonstrates Gods love by willingly sharing of her life’s experiences and lessons with others. As a minister of the Gospel, Yolanda has a global influence in both the arenas of ministry and missions. She serves as the President & CEO of Sensational Enterprise, a cutting-edge company that seeks to give others the advantage in the areas of music, entertainment, publishing and community empowerment. Yolanda’s passion for missions allowed her to serve alongside of leaders and students of the St. Louis Christian College during a missions outreach to Nicaragua where hundreds of children and adults receive Christ into their hearts; a trip, which has been life-changing and impactful in her pursuit of destiny. Recently, Yolanda wrote and self-published her first book entitled, “Singletude,” a book about discovering wholeness in life and understanding God’s everlasting love for His children. Singletude has also become a phrase that captures enjoying the precious moments of your life and the road to becoming all that God has created you for. Yolanda’s commitment to helping others is evident through her lifestyle of service. She leads the Single’s Ministry at Alive Church – St. Louis, which promotes unity and sisterhood. She frequently hosts special Bible Study gatherings and workshops – all to empower women to develop in their purpose and destiny. In addition, Yolanda also serves as a mentor and life-coach to many women and emerging entrepreneurs. Also, she plays an instrumental role in helping others through counseling sessions – always demonstrating a calm demeanor as she helps others work through complex issues. With a bachelor's degree in Christian Counseling from St. Louis Christian College, Yolanda has a heart for restoring a person’s true identity and purpose in Christ and leading all to a lifestyle of wholeness, oneness with God – an attitude of Singletude. Above all her accomplishments, she considers her family her greatest pride and joy, and raising Godly children an absolute honor. As a mother of five, and a grandmother of three, she firmly believes that the best way to raise successful children is in the reverence of the Lord. From her humble faith-walk in 2007, following the voice of God by leaving Philadelphia to St. Louis, Yolanda remains true to living her dreams and walking in her motto, “There's no Ecstasy like your Destiny!” |
